Second DUI Charge in Pennsylvania

Information on Being Charged a Second Time for DUI in Delaware County Pennsylvania

If you were arrested with a second DUI charge in Pennsylvania, you probably are wondering what will happen to your driver’s license, whether you are facing jail time, and the amount you may have to pay for fines and court fees.

When found guilty of a second DUI in Pennsylvania the penalties are severe and can have lasting consequences. A guilty plea can mean losing your license for a year and spending up to six months in jail.

However, not every DUI arrest ends up as a DUI conviction – it is important to speak with an experienced DUI attorney as soon as possible to go over your options and fight for your charges to be either reduced or dropped altogether.

Even if you went through the ARD program with a first DUI charge, another DUI charge is considered a second offense.

If you were charged with DUI Drugs, or DUI-D, you may face stronger penalties.
